Evergreen houseplant with large glossy oval leaves.Its pot must be dranined well to prevent rotting of the roots. Watering only when the soil on the surface seems to be dry.Ficus Benjamina needs enough light but not direct sunlight because it can cause burns to the leaves. Spray the leaves with warm water once a week. According to a survey of NASA in the early of 80's ,ficus Benjamina has the ability to cleane the atmosphere of our house from hazardous toxic substances such as formaldehyde, benzene, carbon monoxide, as well as to absorb electromagnetic waves and smoke, substances unfortunately exist in any home.Withstands up to 16 degrees Celsius.
