Zamioculcas has oval, glossy, dark-green, leathery leaves and its root system is consisted of tubers. It needs indirect sunlight, but it can also be placed to very dark spots of the house without problem. It is a plant that does not need any special care as a watering once per month in the winter and twice in summertime is enough. Zamioculcas is a plant with high resistance to pests and diseases. On the other hand, if it is watered more than it needs, its leaves will turn yellow and fell and the whole plant will rot.
