The Eternal (Aeonium) is genus of succulents , subtropical plants of the family Krassouloeidon and includes 35 species . Most species are endemic to the Canary Islands .
The varieties of Aeonium arboretum have tall , thin , curved branches , on top of which there is a rosette of fleshy leaves. The Eternal in trapezomorfo (Aeonium tabuliforme) has an extremely flat rosette of thick leaves on low, which just reaches 10 cm . The rosettes are almost black , with a slightly crimson sheen and green in the center. They are quite resistant to cold , but can not withstand frost and in Winter would be better to move them to protected locations . Both genera rosettes grow for a few years until they make from their center a small shoot of a small inflorescence .
