Hosta sieboldiana

Evergreen, perennial poa. The maximum height of the plant reaches seventy centimeters and its diameter one and a half meters. It has large, heart-shaped, fleshy leaves with strong veins in green, blue-green or a combination of light and dark green for the panache varieties. It blooms terminally on vertical flowering stems, each of which bears a botryos inflorescence. The inflorescences appear during the summer and the flowers are white or light purple in color. Grows in fertile, moist, but well-drained soils, in semi-shaded to shady planting locations, protected from dry and cold winds.
