Very beautiful evergreen bush with green shiny leaves.It reaches in height and diameter of 1 metre.It has big white aromatic flowers with extraordinary sweet perfume.It's flowering usually is in elation in spring and the summertime even if gardenia it is not plant that has concrete period of flowering, can bloom the whole year if it is under suitable conditions.It prefers with acidic sublayer of medium constitution and the soil must be wet. In general terms the sublayer should be always lightly moist.Gardenia is a plant that does not bear the atmospheric drought. For this reason its advised to spray the leafage with water. The drought of air can also cause fall of buds of plant. It does not bear in low temperature,so under 0°C it should be protected.
