Azaleas bloom in Spring.Their flowers can often last several weeks. They are available in several colors as red, pink, white e.t.c. Shade tolerant, they prefer living near or under trees. Azaleas are generally slow-growing and do best in well-drained acidic soils (4.5–6.0 pH). They can survive in low temperatures down to 0°C.
