Evergreen or semi-evergreen climber with tendrils ending in suction cups. Green compound foliage with 3 ovate leaflets. Displays rich fragrant flowering May-September, with cylindrical flowers, red outside and creamy-yellow with red throat internally. Plant in fertile well-drained soils with sun exposure. Resistant up to -5 degrees. Climbs to a height of 8-10m.
