Deciduous shrub with upright symmetrical shape, which reaches a height of 3-4m diameter and 2-3m, with round green-bluish leaves. Impressive intense pink-violet blooming during March and April. The fruits, legumes, are maintained in winter. It photophilous, grows in all soils and resistant to atmospheric pollution. Open pruning and formed bushy or dentrodi form. Planted in pots and gardens, single or in clusters. Withstands temperatures as low as -20 degrees.
