Zamioculcas is a very beautiful houseplant. It has oval, glossy, dark green, leathery leaves and a root system consisted of tubers. It grows better under indirect sunlight, but it can also grow in very shady spots of our home. It is a plant that does not need special care, as a watering once per month in the winter and twice per month in the summer months is enough. It needs light soil with good drainage. Zamioculcas, is resistant to most pests and diseases and its most common problem is rottin from excessive moisture.
