Deciduous species with ornamental flowering April-May, with pale bell flowers. The leaves get nice autumn fruiting chromata.Afthoni with large, blue violet fruit eaten fresh or in jam. Afraid dry and calcareous soils and heatwaves. Suitable for acidic soils with semi-shaded exposure. Planted in pots and gardens. Withstands up to -6 degrees.
