Evergreen shrub reaching up to 2 meters height.The branches are spiny with leathery leaves and bears large fragrant white flowers.At autumn are formed red ornamental fruit,very decorative.Suitable plant for sunny, protected by frost areas and relatively dry soils.It is planted in coastal areas, rock gardens and semi-shaded gardens.It holds at low temperatures down to -5 degrees.
