Upright evergreen plant that reaches height and diameter 1,20-1,50 m. This plant is known as "Bird of Paradise". Bring aquamarine foliage with contrasting ribbing. Flowering December to June with striking bright orange and purple flowers peek through green bracts purple shades. Suitable for fertile, cool and well-drained soils and sunward or semi-shaded positions. Planted in pots and small gardens. Withstands up to -2 degrees.
