The fig tree is a tree in the Mediterranean area but can be grown outside, always a southern exposure or under protection. Its value is not reduced by the lack of fruiting and ornamental trees are excellent shade. Adapts to all soils. The fig tree bears fruit twice each crop cycle. Recommended dilution light pruning. Planted in pots and gardens.
