Upright evergreen shrub. Forming round leaves, green in the upper surface and the lower gray fluffy. Flowering July to August, with wonderful flowers composed of fleshy white petals and long red stamens. Autumn fruiting edible fruit, which give off a pleasant smell, like that of pineapple. Plant in sheltered positions sunward, while shen has claims to territorial recommendation. Is used single or in groups or clusters. Holds up to -6 / -12 degrees.
