Herbaceous perennial, evergreen, low-growing plant with beautiful reddish foliage.It reaches a final height of up to 60cm. It blooms during the summer months with small, white flowers and keep blooming until the autumn. The Alternathera has moderate water requirements and sunshine duration. Prune lightly throughout the year, except for periods of intense cold. Plant alone, in gardens, rock gardens or as ground cover plant, creating a beautiful contrast because of the reddish foliage. Each Spring takes 2-3 times fertilize with a 30-10-10 type soluble fertilizer and 1-2 times fertilizer with iron.Alternathera can withstuand low temperatures to -5°C.
