Evergreen plant of slow growth reaching 3-4m height and diameter 2-3m. Bears pinnate leaves with glossy green leathery leaflets. Its fruits are round and reddish covered by pale yellow horseshoe lugs. Suitable for sandy soils and cool in sunny areas. Plant in rock gardens or small gardens and pots or window boxes. Withstands temperatures mechri-8/-10 degrees.
