Evergreen shrub reaching 10-15cm and low development .The leaves are elliptical and prolate.The flowers are white bell-shaped and produces red berries, which have medicinal properties.It grace mainly in acidic soils and in semi-shaded places.It produces fruit only in sunny locations. Plant in pots or window boxes, compositions in small gardens and rock garden.It holds at low temperatures and frost down to -20 degrees.
