Ιt blooms with beautiful orange flowers May-June. We plant in pots, planters and rock gardens (perfect combination with Agaves). Can be planted in pots, flowerbeds and rock gardens. It would be nice if you put and mix in the garden 2-3 shovels of pumice in the ground around its roots. In pot, we can put in soil mix for cacti with common garden soil in a 1:1 ratio, with a little pumice. Plant in fully sunny places. We scarcely water in winter, maybe once a month or less. The rest of the time we water only when the soil is completely dry. We give once a year, special fertilizer for cacti in much scarcer solution than recommended.
