Perennial creeping herb. Relatively fast-growing and suitable for sunny locations. It produces flowers from mid-spring until early winter, as long as temperatures are high and there is sunlight. It comes in a wide variety of colors, including bicolors. To keep it flowering, dead flowers should be removed and flowering fertilizer added. It can be used in flowerbeds, rock gardens, pots, both upright and hanging. It has moderate water needs and requires well-draining soil.
