Robust kind of rapid growth that reaches a height of 4-5m diameter and 3-4m. Upright round shape and dark green glossy leaves that are colored reddish-brown-orange in the fall. Lush flowering in May to June, with double, red, intensely fragrant flowers later give red-orange fruit. It grows in full sun and in all lands. Bears thorns and used in protective fences. Planted in pots and gardens. Withstands up to -10 degrees.
